Are you willing to let your potential client feel uncomfortable if it’s in their best interest?

Many people share that they “don’t want to make other people feel uncomfortable.”

This makes sense - we’re wired for social approval.

Making people uncomfortable isn’t exactly the best formula for making friends.

But you didn’t start your business to make friends. You started your business to serve people and help them grow.

One of the most common mistakes people make on discovery calls/consults/sales calls with potential clients is to fear making them uncomfortable -

(which is typically just code for “I don’t want to feel uncomfortable myself”)

When you’re afraid of making others uncomfortable, you’re trying to please them, not serve them.

The sales call is all about helping your potential client do what’s best for THEM. It’s not about making them (or you) comfortable.

Growth rarely happens when we stay comfortable.
