What? That’s not very inspirational…
Fear is natural. It is OKAY to be afraid. It is part of the human experience.
Recognize it, be aware of it, and acknowledge it.
While fear is natural, you do not have to let it prevent you from moving forward and achieving your goals.
Understand it, and then release its grip on you.
How?
I put together a simple exercise based on Tim Ferriss’ TED talk, “Why you should define your fears instead of your goals” to help you do just that.
Once you define and understand your fears, they become less scary. This exercise will also help you consider the cost of inaction, or not pursuing your goal.
