Asking myself this question once was a great thought exercise. Asking it once a week changed the trajectory of my life.

❓What would it look like to be operating at your absolute best in every area of life? ❓

Here’s how I answer that question.

Personal life:

🛏 I go to sleep on time the night before and don’t look at screens post 9PM

⏰ I wake up right after my alarm goes off (no snooze)

🙏🏻 I spend quality quiet time with God, journal and read Scripture. I enjoy being in His presence.

💪 I work out hard, pushing my body to its limit

❤️ I intentionally find ways to love and serve my wife

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 I’m fiercely present with my kids when I’m not working

In my business:

📅 I do my daily mindset worksheet

💡 I do one thing at a time

🔌 I lay down my desire for comfort and coach my clients powerfully, even if it gets uncomfortable

❤️I show up in my marketing because I’m compelled out of love

🤔 Before every meeting, I ask myself how I can best love this person I’m meeting with

I review this list at the start of every week and I measure myself against this standard.

I’ve learned not to beat myself up for where I’m falling short. I simply notice, and recommit.

This practice makes me a better dad, husband, Jesus follower, business owner and friend.
